Project Schedule/Updates

Here is a 2008 month-by-month look at the construction schedule. For more information contact info@I40widening.com.

January-work continues on new eastbound lane and bridges, and we will begin work on the sound wall.

February-we will complete the US19/23 bridge deck, place beams on the railroad bridge.

March-there will be a traffic shift from the on ramp from 19/23 to I40 eastbound cross the newly constructed railroad bridge.

April-eastbound traffic will shift to the new eastbound lane.

May-construction begins on new median barrier rail.

June-median lane work continues.

July-median lane and barrier work complete.

August-complete all unfinished work, place new signs, and complete project clean up.

September-open all lanes!
